Department of Art & Design

The art & design department is built around four specialties, namely Art Design (Environmental Art Design, Graphic Design), Industrial Design, Advertising ( Digital Graphic Design) . All these disciplines have full authority to confer bachelor degrees, and the other degrees education will be developed as well as it needed.

The department has several thousand square meters of existing building area, providing with the multi-media classroom, professional painting studio and comprehensive laboratory. The art exhibit room and modernizing the teaching equipments, is the cradle in which the young people achieves the art dream.

It owns a reasonable structure. The teacher's troops are young but vibrant. They got the prize in each kind of big match. And they have participated the design work in the school and out. We still especially hire the well-known scholar and experts of the art design realm to serve as the part-time professor at the same time.

Bachelor's Study Programmes

•  Art Design (The direction of environment art design)

Foster goal: This major trains the students into the talented person with the knowledge and the ability of the art design and creations, teaching and research etc. They grasp the foundation theories, basic knowledge and professional technical ability of the environment art design. The ability is engaged in the environment art design, teaching, researching, administrating in the each professional field, including the government, the business unit and the school, the research section, etc.

Main course: Construction drawing, interior design introduction, three kinds of constitute, the human body engineering, the building decorate material and construction, indoor view design, the interior design, the environment in which person resides design, the business space design, the Auto CAD design skill method,3 Dmax performance skill method etc.

Years of Study: four years

Degree: Bachelor of Arts

•  Art design (The direction of graphic design)

Foster goal: This major trains the students into the talented person with the knowledge and the ability of the art design and creations, teaching and research etc. They grasp the foundation theories, basic knowledge and professional technical ability of the graphic design. The ability is engaged in the graphic design, teaching, researching, administrating in the each professional field, including the government, the business unit and the school, the research section, etc.

Main course: Sketch, painting, graphic innovation, the advertising design, the decorate design, the symbolize design, the book packs design, CI design, the business photograph, the computer aids design, Chinese and Foreign design history, flat surface CAD, design general outline etc.

•  Industrial Design (The direction of industry product shape design)

Foster goal: This major trains the students into the talented person with the knowledge and the ability of the art design and creations, teaching and research etc. They grasp the foundation theories, basic knowledge and professional technical ability of the industrial design. The ability is engaged in the industrial art design, teaching, researching, administrating in the each professional field, including the government, the business unit and the school, the research section, etc.

Main course: Sketch, painting, three kinds of constitute, shape design foundation, the product design, arts and crafts, carve and the mold making, the computer aids design, material innovation design, the human body engineering, the product shape design, advertisement design, display design etc.

•  Advertising (The direction of digital design)

Foster goal: This major trains the students into the talented person with the knowledge and the ability of the art design and creations, teaching and research etc. They grasp the foundation theories, basic knowledge and professional technical ability of the digital design. The ability is engaged in the digital design, teaching, researching, administrating in the each professional field, including the government, the business unit and the school, the research section, etc.

Main course: photograph, the computer aids design, advertisement design, interior design, display design, the digital movie edit, interaction design, the electronics art and principle etc..
