Introduction

Department of Teaching and Research of Physical Education of Wuhan Polytechnic University, founded in January 1999, possesses 2 Teaching and Research Offices and 1 physical test center for students. The department has a faculty of 30 whose average age is 36 including 3 professors, 9 associate professors, 16 lecturers and 2 teaching assistants and 8 teachers possess master’s degree, accounting for 29%. At present, the whole staff is mainly responsible for the following teaching tasks of the university: public physical education and optional physical education, morning exercises, group activities, sports training & competitions and the students’ physical test.
