I wish to apply as an English Teacher to work in your Foreign Languages department. I have two years experience in teaching English as a foreign language and I will love an opportunity to bring the skills I have into your university. I have a degree and masters in English Linguistics and believe these will be of benefit to your university, coupled with other transferable skills I have.

As someone who is committed and willing in equal measure to do my utmost to raise standards and drive the attainment of my students forward, I feel I would make an ideal candidate for your position. I have years of experience in performing in front of audiences of all ages, speaking, presenting and teaching.
I have experience of teaching children of varying ages and abilities, and am very good at identifying children who need additional support. I believe I will be a perfect fit for your school as what I have read and seen so far match my interests in the teaching and mentoring world.

On a personal level I derive joy when working with students and helping make a difference in their lives. I have the determination needed to succeed in any challenging environment and pride myself on being a principled person who has strong ethics. In addition to this I am, reliable, honest, have a good sense of humour and am able to work as part of an established team. I am willing to submit myself to enhanced police disclosure checks and can provide you with professional references.
